Out of the respondents, 6% reported that they had arguments with their spouse that were intense like cats and dogs, while 13% stated that they prefer to undertake tasks on their own in the future.

Kitchens and bathrooms were identified by both men and women as the top areas of the home requiring a revamp. This was closely followed by master bedrooms, family rooms, home offices, and children's bedrooms.
47% of homeowners revealed that a custom kitchen featuring genuine hardwood cabinets was their ultimate home renovation project when asked about their wishlist for home makeovers. In second place at 39%, was a bathroom made of marble and equipped with a Jacuzzi. Following closely behind were walk-in closets (37%), a high-quality home theater system or high-definition television (36%), natural hardwood floors and paneling (32%), and a fully furnished home office (26%).
